Our Philosophy
Assembly House Films was founded on a simple belief: the best films come from the best collaborations. Not from a permanent roster of the same people working the same way — but from assembling exactly the right talent for each specific story.
We operate like a general contractor. When a project comes to us, we don't reach for whoever is available. We think carefully about what the story needs — the right screenwriter, the right cinematographer, the right cast — and we build the team from there.
This approach keeps our work honest. Every film we make is shaped by the people who are best suited to make it, not by the limitations of a standing crew.
The General Contractor Model
A general contractor doesn't do every job on a build — they know who does each job best, and they coordinate those people into something coherent. That's exactly how we work.
We maintain relationships with talented screenwriters, camera operators, sound designers, editors, production designers, and actors across Orlando and beyond. When a project is greenlit, we draw from that network to form a production team built for that film specifically.
The result is a production that feels intentional at every level — because it is.
Human Storytelling
We make films about people, for people. No AI-generated scripts, no algorithmic decisions. Every creative choice is made by a human being who cares about the work.
Craft Over Volume
We are not a content factory. We take on fewer projects so we can give each one the attention it deserves. Quality is the only metric that matters to us.
Independent by Design
We operate entirely outside the Hollywood system. That independence gives us the freedom to tell stories that wouldn't survive a studio development process.
